Terrence Coles, Trading Director for Mobile at OpenX - Mr. Coles is currently heading up global trading for mobile and video in the OpenX Market, Mr. Coles has worked in Los Angeles in all facets of Production, Digital Media and Advertising. He also works on mobile education initiatives through ByParents4Kids in conjunction with Hines Media Group and the One Million Parents Connect initiative. At EMC Consulting he developed cutting edge solutions for Content, Media and Entertainment for Digital Content Management, Distribution & Interactive Advertising, Television, Broadband and Mobile platforms. He also has experience in providing information, analytics, and software tools to all constituencies in the advertising, entertainment and marketing areas. He brings over 20+ years of negotiating and sales experience in film, television, music, advertising and e-commerce and over 15 years of interactive and digital production experience. He has produced cross-platform interactive television and branded marketing concepts. Mr. Coles was also EVP of Sales and Content Acquisition at NextMedium Inc. where he successfully launched the first marketplace solution for Brand Integration. Mr. Coles began his work in branded entertainment with Pier 3 Entertainment representing clients including Volkswagen, Activision, Beck’s Beer, Fuji Film, Kraft Fruit2O, Skyy Vodka, Aveda, LL Bean, Fender and others. From 1998 through 2001 he was SVP of Programming at video on demand pioneer Intertainer, Inc. His responsibilities included contract negotiations with movie studios, cable networks, record labels and advertising agencies as well as overseeing all in-house production activities programming of the service. He has held Sales and Marketing position for other media companies including Katz Communications, Infinity Broadcasting/KROQ Radio, Lycos, and America Online. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Marketing from California State University, Fullerton.
